Corporate identity is how a company feels like it should be perceived by its audience. The corporate image is actually how they company is perceived by its audience. Corporate identity allows businesses to make a brand that that customers, employees and investors can look at. Corporate identity is important because it can help people decide whether to join the corporation or not. If the corporate identity is bad then investors and employees ma chose to leave the company or not join in the first place. The word junior makes the young teenagers feel better as they are being called juniors and not kids by watching the channel. The channel Disney Junior shows tv shows for the age group between children tv shows and teenager tv shows. The shows that air are shows like Mickey Mouse and PJ Masks. The target audience for the channel is kids that are above toddlers but before teenagers. The shows that are aired follow this target audience. Corporate Design: This is the theme of the company, this includes the colours and shapes of the logo, and the way it portrays the companies audience and ethos. Their target audience is juniors. Being young teenagers. This is shown by the logo. the logo has one of the Disney characters Mickey Mouse, as the letter "I". Also the red text junior appeals to this audience through the colour and the word. The typography of the logo is the same throuought different disney channels and products as seen in the pictures of some of the logos below. The font that disney is written in in the same thorough all the different disney logos, apart from the dot on the I. This is often different depending on the channel. The rest of the logo varies, using colour and typography to appeal to the audience Corporate Communication This is the way the channel advertises itself. This is done to grow their audience and brand. The channel's corporate communication shows that the audience is "Juniors" and mainly boys. The channel is advertised through other disney channels and online. The channel does not promote social media accounts as it is for children who are not old enough to have social media accounts, so they cannot check out the disney twitter. The brand Disney Junior also advertises the main brand Disney's merchandise, Being disney related toys, posters and dvd's. Corporate Behaviour This is how the company portrays them self to the audience. This is done through their ethos values and what times they air what programs. Disney Juniors Ethos are to entertain their audience to a Suitable standard fro kids. The channel must be appropriate for kids as parents may not want their kids watching inappropriate content. This expands their audience keeping it PG or lower rating. The types of tv shows are aimed at juniors early teenagers and just below. The shows are usually animated or have kids in so the audience can relate to what they are watching, They advertise the main shows from other channels using tv adverts to expand their audience.
